Leo Farrell was a well known characater in the
Towamba, Burragate and Pericoe areas.
His lifestyle was reminiscent of the early pioneers
of the area. His straightforward way
of dealing with all that life sent his way is,
at times, inspiring.
His dedication to the conservation
of the South East Forests came from
first hand experience of what was happening
on the ground. He had the courage of his convictions
and was true to himself.
